Emerald has definitely made its way into my designs this past year – and I am thrilled to discover new and exciting ways to bring the elegant and rich color to my clients!
Bringing in Emerald into your design does not mean we need to move away from other colors you love like deep, dark browns and mint greens.
I love how this pop of Emerald makes you take a second look at this armoire. Paired with the yellow flowers and the deep auburn walls, it is warm and inviting compared to the image above where it has a cool and calm feel.

We cannot forget about the runway either! Emerald green is at the top of Pantone’s Fashion Color Report for Spring 2013! This chart is a wonderful tool to see how fabulous Emerald really is and all of the color pairing to go with it!
Even Kate Middleton saw the writing on the wall! This color looks as amazing on you as it will in your home!
Big thanks to my designer inspirations Maria Killiam and Tobi Fairley for sharing their thoughts the fab new color of the year. I can’t wait to see what amazing designs you ladies create in 2013! You can read their blogs here and here.
