As many of you already know, I am a Southern girl through-and-through, but I am also a HUUUUUGE lover of New York City! It is my favorite city EVER… even above Paris! So naturally, the famous holiday windows of New York reeeeally make me  happy! As such, I was thrilled to find online photos of some of those windows, and I am now passing them along to all of you. I hope they warm your holiday spirits and make you smile as much as they did me!

Thank you to my fellow blogger, Heather Clawson, who originally posted the following photos, so that I might also share their joy with all of you.

ENJOY….

New Yorker, and fellow interior designer & blogger, Heather Clawson, posted these photos of Bergdorf  Goodman‘s holiday windows on her fabulous blog, Habitually Chic.  These glamorous, over-the-top windows are entitled “Wish You Were Here”. And I DO wish I was there!

Heather, at Habitually Chic, also posted these funny photos of Barney’s holiday windows. The theme of these windows is “Have a Foodie Holiday”.

In the photos below, you will see that they have included America’s famous female chefs in their window design…. Ina Garten, Paula Deen, Martha Stewart, and Sandra Lee…. all in their own personalized Snuggies!

And in another of Barney’s “foodie” windows (below), famous chefs, including Anthony Bourdain dine on Mario Batali!

In the latter photo (below), according to Heather Clawson, the ball gown is made of  Illy coffee packaging! WOW! Now, THAT is impressive!

Other Barney’s windows wish everyone a “witty holiday” in honor of the 35th anniversary of Saturday Night Live.

Coneheads!

On my Saturday blog post this week (Sorry, taking Fab Friday off!), I will post photos of holiday windows from years gone by. So, until then, my friends, I leave you with this…

NOW, GO HAVE AN “It’s So Fabulous!” THANKSGIVING!
