Kimberly recently wrote a wonderful “What’s on Your Walls?” blog series where she went into great detail about the three main surfaces designers typically work with when deciding what is going to go on those walls of yours! She wrote about paint, upholstery and my personal fave, wallpaper. When reading the blog I immediately thought about one of our recent clients where a change in the wallpaper created a dramatic shift in the look and feel of room.
This is a model we did for a builder. The picture is of a dining room that had the exact same floor plan with the exact same furniture BUT with two very different types of wallpaper. I love how you get to see two completely different looks here. One look is a subtle, leopard wallpaper and the other one is a metallic, floral print. Both compliment the room and are lovely.
It just goes to show what a different wallpaper can make in the feel of a room!
