“It’s So Fabulous!” DESIGN BOOK of the Week: This week’s design book choice is written by Margaret Russell, Vice-President and Editor-in-Chief of Elle Decor magazine. Its name is Style and Elegance: The Best of Elle Decor. As many of you probably already know, I am quite a huge fan of Elle Decor! So, needless to say, the pages and pages of inspiring photos contained within this book, have kept me ooh-ing and ahh-ing on many an occasion! Simply FABULOUS!
“It’s So Fabulous!” DESIGN HOME of the Week: How many of you remember me posting photos (back in May) of the Atlanta Designer Show House and Gardens 2010? Well, at the time, there were not many pictures to post (except of the exterior and the greenhouse!), because they did not allow visitors to photograph the property. BUT GUESS WHAT?! As promised, the pictures have finally been released, and I am including many of them in today’s post. To see all of the images with full descriptions, click HERE. This house was so expansive that they definitely did not include photos of all of the rooms…. and they were ALL gorgeous! The master bath was absolutely stunning, but so far, no photos of that have surfaced. I will keep you posted if they emerge later on. As a reminder, each of the room designs was created and executed by a different decorator, so you are looking at the work of several fantastically talented designers! Enjoy!

“It’s So Fabulous!” BEAUTIFUL DESTINATION of the Week: Ok, who has visited a place like this? Bora Bora Lagoon Resort is a destination I ran across while surfing the web, and it looks absolutely FABUUULLLOOOUUUSS! It is located in the South Pacific. Here is the resort’s description provided on the website:
“Named by Modern Bride Magazine as the Ultimate Fantasy Suite in an Overwater Bungalow and Best Hotel for Seclusion for Honeymooners. Request a motu picnic on a deserted island. I WAAAAAAAAAANT IT! If that doesn’t make you want to drop everything and go on vacation, nothing will! If I stop blogging for a while, I may be here (in my dreams, at least! PLEASE don’t wake me!)….
