Kimberly’s clients know that whether working with her in person or long-distance, they can trust her to deliver on all of her promises. She says, “The process has to be based on honesty and trust to become a joyous and fulfilling experience for everyone involved.”

Kimberly’s growing acclaim among enthusiastic clients is due to her renown for creating elegant, comfortable living spaces in any design style. She explains, “Whether it’s utterly traditional or ultra-modern, good design is good design. I’ve always been able to run the gamut and give my clients living spaces that fit the way they live – with an element of surprise that makes them say WOW!”

Kimberly’s popular, fun-to-browse retail store, Knotting Hill Interiors, is an extension of her design process and philosophy. It is layered with surprising and unique accents for the home and personal adornment.

Kimberly is increasingly celebrated in the media for her noteworthy high-profile accomplishments, such as the renovation of the world-famous historic Pine Lakes Country Club. Her designs have been featured in select regional magazines, and she shares her expertise in columns she writes for several magazines. She is the winner of the 2008 and 2009 Best Interior Designer of the Year awards. She also won the Grand Strand Parade of Homes annual competition. In addition, she founded the City of Myrtle Beach’s prestigious Tour of Homes.

Based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Kimberly earned her degree in business and interior design from Winthrop College. With her husband Roger she has six children – adopted, blended, and biological – and an assortment of pets. Volunteerism plays a significant role in her familyís life. In addition to involving her children in activities that give back to the community, Kimberly herself makes a yearly to-do list of 50 things that “make a difference.”
