THIS FABULOUS FRIDAY, I HAVE FOUND…

“It’s So Fabulous!” DESIGN ROOM of the Week: My pick for design room of the week is actually an outdoors space that I found on the Elle Decor website. With the end of summer fast approaching, I had to lift my glass one final time to celebrate the exterior [...]

THIS FABULOUS FRIDAY, I HAVE FOUND…

“It’s So Fabulous!” DESIGN ROOM of the Week: Since all of my blogs this week have been about three different design styles and their respective components, take a look at this room from Coastal Living. It seems to perfectly blend two of those particular styles together. Before you [...]

THIS FABULOUS FRIDAY, I HAVE FOUND…

“It’s So Fabulous!” DESIGN HOME of the Week: My choice for design home of the week is one that I have been drooling over in the August issue of Veranda Magazine for a couple of weeks now. It is a 17th century French Provençal that is absolutely magical.

Kimberly, thank you so much! I got on the blog to thank you for de-coding pictures of interiors so that now I know WHY I’m loving them — and I saw that you posted my appeal! I’m so grateful! You’re the best!!

  • Thom’s book sounds amazing. I love it when celebrity designers are down to earth, and actually write good books, with REAL tips that people can use! Your jewelry line sounds great too! I have never had the urge to carry jewelry in my store. hmmmm, Is this something I should look into? Hows the online store coming?

Jewelry works great for us! I wear a LOT of jewelry and love it, so it is easy to sell! For the most part, I keep the price point low, so it is affordable for my customers to buy as gift items… and for themselves, of course (“One for her, two for me, one for her, three for me…” :) ) Thom’s book is really great, and since I am also working on a book of my own right now, I have put the online store on the back burner for the time being. One day, though….

I have so many ideas swirling around in my head right now… looks like you do, too! I will send you a good ‘ole fashioned email about some of mine soon.

I am enjoying your blog! Love your writing style and what you did with your Atlanta market series!

Take care, and thanks for reading! We MUST connect soon!!!

    Hey, Kimberly,

I think the painting is FAB!I LOVE painterly paintings, where the paint strokes themselves do the work of conveying the emotions of the painter. It looks like the flesh tones & the blue might go well with the “Myrtle Beach” and “Rhine River” paint colors!

    • Kimberly Grigg

So true about the paint strokes conveying emotion! That’s one of the things I love most about this painting! Great observation about the paint colors matching, Summer!
