I just love how Amanda Kinseth from Carolina & Co introduced me on their live show just the other day. She made a special point to say that Knotting Hill is not only an interior design company but also a place for gifts and fabrics. I like to call us a “one stop shop!” Whether you need a complete home makeover, find the perfect gift, or you are knee deep in a DIY project and need a couple yards of fabric or you need a dress and all the fixin’s Knotting Hill Interiors has it all!
I was so excited to come back to Carolina & Co. I just love their show. Amanda and Cecil are a great pair and really make me feel “a part of the family” whenever I stop by to talk style and design with them. In this episode I shared what I like to call my “Kimplistic Tips” – just some real, simple advice to live beautifully but not break the bank! From beautiful drawer handles to add some drama to your dresser or cabinets to a beautiful new fabric you can use for pillows or a re-upholstery project, I share several examples to bring a freshness to your home or room. My segment begins 9:00 minutes into the program, but I highly recommend watching the whole thing! And, remember – everything you see on here you can get right at Knotting Hill Interiors! I look forward to seeing you there!

Great segment, thank you for sharing
Thanks so much, Nicole! Fabulous to see you here! xo
Hi Kim,
You looked “Gorgeous” in that fuschia (truly your color) and the tips were great! Hopefully, you left that pretty chevron patterned pillow with Cecil and Carolina to spice up their sofa.
I will be searching your site for washable (vinyl?) wallpaper for my kitchen backsplash/stove area. The kitchen walls are painted a deep, deep peach/shrimp/coral…which travels into a paler peach wall tone for the dining/living room.
I want to tone things down in the kitchen with an ivory-stone colored wallpaper with little or no patterning unless it is tone-on-tone ivory jacquard. This ivory would offset my “biscuit refrigerator” and soon-to-be-painted: Cream Cabinetry.
I’m in Tennessee and would be interested in starting this DIY project: October.
What do you think?
Kimberly, you were wonderful on TV! So glad of the heads-up so I could check it out. I love that you gave tips for sprucing up a room inexpensively — yet luxuriously. The products you brought and the pictures of the store don’t really convey the ENCHANTMENT of your store! Those of you who have been there know what I’m talking about, right? I love bringing out-of-town guests: they really enjoy it!
Summer,
Thank you so much! I am so glad your guests love the store. It is enchanting, isn’t it? See you soon at Knotting Hill!
