Wall Collages of Pictures

Yesterday’s post was all about wall collages of plates, and today is all about wall collages of pictures (and other objects!). Rather than arranging your pictures in a traditional straight-in-a-row formation, why not mix it up with a more interesting configuration? Or, if you prefer a more symmetrical appearance, try simply adding MORE pictures of the same size in a simple design! Below are a few examples of symmetrical configurations.

Creating a focal point can begin with an object or piece of art in a distinct color or shape. Placement of the pictures is another way of creating a focal point.

This collage incorporates pictures and artwork of many different shapes, colors, and sizes. Playing with the size of the mats inside the frame is a fun way to introduce a new element into a collage of framed art.

One way to add even more interest in a wall collage is by playing with the matting and frame colors of your pictures.

The sky is the limit with regard to arranging your wall collage. Place photos closer together or further apart, depending on your preference.
